"This was an awesome experience during difficult times!  Backdrop for the 3 M concert was amazing! Beautiful lake with ducks all around! 3M is an incredible performer and storyteller. Definitely worth the time and money!"

"What a special evening... Michael has perfect pitch...So grateful he sings western songs...We both have taught the west and appreciate all his efforts to keep it alive...It added a magical compliment to the songs....There was rain, thunder and lighting that evening...but we were under a big circus tent and all was cozy as he broke into Ghost Riders In The Sky...So special to have it all etched in our memories forever...."

Red River dates back to the time when New Mexico was a US territory. Like Telluride Colorado, it was a gold mining boom town in the late 1800s.  Many of the cabins and buildings from that era are still standing. The town is completely surrounded by US Forest Service wildland and wildlife - elk, deer, bear, mountain lions, fox, coyotes, wild horses, eagles, hawks, mountain grouse, bison, and much more. Playing a concert series there is a working vacation for me - with an emphasis on the vacation part. I've spent a lifetime in Red River enjoying the fishing, camping, hiking, horseback riding, 4-wheeling, skiing, chowing down on great western style and Mexican food, two-stepping in the dancehalls, pickin' and singin'! Just around the mountain is the adobe-architecture style  town of Taos and the ancient pueblo of the Taos Native Americans. All the things I've enjoyed all these years are still there. And you can enjoy them, too!
